What is bakuchiol?

The bakuchiol is an active ingredient of natural origin extracted from the seeds of the plant Psoralea corylifolia, also called babchi. Renowned for being a natural alternative to retinol, it reproduces their effects on the skin without causing irritation or dryness. Used in anti-aging treatments, it helps to firm the skin, to improve its elasticity and to prevent the signs of aging cutaneous, while suitable for sensitive skin.
