What is bakuchiol?
The bakuchiol is an active ingredient of natural origin extracted from the seeds of the plant Psoralea corylifolia, also called babchi. Renowned for being a natural alternative to retinol, it reproduces their effects on the skin without causing irritation or dryness. Used in anti-aging treatments, it helps to firm the skin, to improve its elasticity and to prevent the signs of aging cutaneous, while suitable for sensitive skin. It must not be applied directly to the skin (vsee "Use of bakuchiol").
