Is the snap fastener scented?

No, the Marie fil eco-friendly products are designed to be practical. You won't feel the snap fastener except when cycling.

Dealing with flow varies by person, but a common recommendation is: - Light flow: 6–8 pads - Medium flow: 8–12 pads - Heavy flow or for less frequent laundry: 12–20 pads Consider having a mix of sizes (liner, regular, overnight) and plan for at least one change every 4–8 hours. If you prefer fewer pads, wash more often; if you prefer fewer washes, keep a larger stash.

If you prefer not to do laundry during your period, we recommend having the same number of washable pads as the number of disposable pads you would normally use during your week of bleeding. You can also run a load of laundry mid-menstrual cycle to reduce the number of washable pads you need to own.

• Regular: Ideal towel to use during your menstrual cycle.
• Maxi: Generally used at night or for heavy flow.

Do washable sanitary pads give off odors?

 

No, there is no odor because the washable sanitary pad is made from natural fibers. No more than a regular sanitary pad!

Quel entretien faire avec mes serviettes hygiéniques lavables?

There are several methods for caring for eco-friendly feminine hygiene products. The simplest is to store your washable sanitary pads in a dry bag (wet bag) until washing. Then, 6 hours before washing, soak the washable pads in a bucket of cold water. Next, wash in cold water in the machine with your bath towels, without fabric softener or bleach, and hang to dry.

It is important not to use hot water to clean washable sanitary pads because hot water cooks the blood. In addition, we always recommend washing the pads with similar colors. These can sometimes bleed during the first washes.
