Marie fil is a project from the heart that is led by our deepest values. It is very important for us to put into practice these values. As an eco-responsible company, our team wishes to encourage the recovery of materials, reuse and a zero waste lifestyle, creating a circular economy that represents the future of commerce.
We have set ambitious goals for the reduction of our internal waste, but we also want to help our customers to take a step closer to a zero waste lifestyle. A green and healthy transition for a healthier planet!
Reuse. Recovery. Zero waste.
Reduction of textile waste in Quebec
Since 2022, Marie fil has recovered every small piece of fabric from the cutting of our textile products. This may look small but it's in fact kilos of fabrics recovered every year!
First recycling project: Eco-responsible underpants
This idea allowed the creation of women's underwear, cut one by one and assembled with care by Andréanne, seamstress at Marie Fil since 2021. This project is our first recovery baby. Making women's underwear in Quebec from recovered fabrics takes even longer than making menstrual underwear.
This time is worth gold for the environment, even if it is not the most lucrative. We do it out of love... For you!
