Materials of the Quebec meditation cushion
Nothing was left to chance in the manufacture of the meditation cushion. Like all Marie fil products, this meditation cushion has been manufactured to be durable over the years.
The interior of the meditation cushion is a beige cylinder. This one is completely stuffed with very small scraps of fabric. These scraps come from our own production. They are 100% new materials.
It is therefore a mixture of polyester, organic cotton, bamboo and hemp.
The colorful cover of the meditation cushion is made of thick polyester. It is a fabric also called canvas. It is therefore washable, and very durable! This one was lovingly printed in Montreal with prints that we have carefully chosen.
The cover of the meditation cushion is easily removed thanks to the zipper sewn all around the cushion. The zipper used is YKK brand, ie the most durable zippers on the market.

Of course, like all Marie fil products, the zero waste meditation cushion was 100% sewn and manufactured in our sewing workshop located in Quebec.
This project completes our almost-zero-waste workshop loop and we are very proud of it!
Production of meditation cushion in small quantities
The meditation cushions are part of our process to become an almost zero waste sewing workshop. We plan to produce 30 cushions per year. When there are no more, you will have to wait until the following year to get one.
The purchase includes a meditation cushion and its cover according to the pattern chosen and the size selected.
